Carlo Scarpa
Carlo Scarpa (June 2nd, 1906 - November 28th, 1978) was an Italian architect and designer heavily influenced by the history of Venetian culture, materials and landscape. in 1926 obtained his diploma of Professor in Architectural Drawing at the Royal Academy of Fine Art in Venice.
William Van Alen
William Van Alen was an American architect, best known for designing New York City's, art-deco Chrysler Building. Van Alen attended the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and also studied for three years at the Atelier Masqueray, the first independent architectural atelier in the United States, founded by Franco-American architect Emmanuel Louis Masqueray.
